Senior Consultant

Mr. Miguel Rodas is a Senior Consultant with a distinguished career in the energy industry, with over 27 years of total experience. Mr. Rodas has worked for utility vendors, as well as for a power utility.  Communications projects included covering areas of system operations and management of Transmission System Networks, Energy Management Systems, and SCADA systems. Leveraging that background, Mr. Rodas has assisted numerous domestic and international customers since 1997 in the fields of Telecommunications for Electric Power Systems, Control Systems, Device Integration (IEDs), AMI, Operations, and Grid Modernization.

His areas of expertise include:

Prior to joining ESTA International, Mr. Rodas worked for Pepco (Washington, DC - now part of Exelon US), Nokia, and Current Group (utility communications). 

Additionally, he has presented at several international conferences and is a member of CIGRE and IEEE Power and Energy Society.
