Areas Of Expertise

Mr. Paul Leufkens has over 20 years of experience in the power sector. He has worked internationally in Business Development and Leadership for consulting and testing companies, including 13 years with KEMA in Netherlands and in Chalfont, PA. Previously, he directed product development for the T&D cable industry and switchgear manufacturing. 

Mr. Paul Leufkens has performed on numerous projects in the market research and technical preparation of market introduction for manufacturers. He has worked on business development and technical studies such as founding of new laboratories, both High Voltage and Smart Grid for firms involved in Testing, Inspections, and Certification. 

 

Mr. Leufkend has practiced Project Management from multi-year product development and multi-project programs and has supported his skills over time by trainings such as SPIN selling and E&Y Client Orientation.

Over his full career, Mr. Leufkens always worked in globally operating companies, participated in IEC, Cenelec and ANSI / IEEE standardization and Cigre, and IEEE study groups. He has held Tutorial at IEEE conference seminar for 200 people regarding the value of testing and certification of transmission and distribution components.

He has an extensive experience in the areas of:

  • Project Management of lab and test related projects

  • Start-up and specification of technical capabilities of new to build labs

  • Consulting and Selling skills

  • International collaboration in projects and studies

  • Teaching and Training
