Mr. Jonathan Paniagua is SCADA Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the electric utility industry. Prior to joining ESTA, he worked for an OSI (Open System International) distributor in Mexico and Central America, which allowed him to gain hands-on experience in designing, installing, commissioning, maintaining, as well as providing technical support and testing SCADA, EMS, and ADMS systems.

 

Additionally, Jonathan has experience with:

 

• Factory Acceptance tests (FAT)

• Site Acceptance tests (FAT)

• Training clients on SCADA and OTS systems

• Designing HMI and data migration

• Scripting and develop applications

• Interfacing with other SCADA/EMS/ADMS and corporate systems

• Cyber security hardware (Firewalls) set-up

• Installation and set-up of operating systems (Linux and Windows)

• Virtualization for SCADA / EMS / ADMS systems

 

Jonathan has been involved in the installation, commissioning, testing or set -up for more than 12 OSI systems for electrical Generation, Distribution and Transmission companies in Mexico and Central America.
