Smart Grid Roadmap Guideline for Developing Countries - 2012 to 2012

ESTA International was selected to assist The World Bank review of international experience on processes, methods, and guidelines that utilities and other organizations have used to define grid modernization priorities (Road Mapping Process).


Description of Services: 

  • Review processes used by utilities in the America, Europe, and Asia and methodologies reviewed by different relevant organizations such as IEEE, EPRI, NIST, and CEATI or others method used by transmission and distribution utilities.

  • Prepare a draft report on the generic guidelines to develop a Road Map for the T&D sector for any utility in the T&D sector, including the process to identify goals, opportunities, technologies available, identification of potential cost/benefits, risk, and description of priorities and road map.

  • Review of Draft Report based on feedback from Bank

  • Production of the Final Report
